Breastfeeding & Infant Feeding Support in Poole, Dorset
Whether you’re preparing to welcome your baby, navigating feeding challenges or simply looking for a little reassurance, I’m here to offer personalised, evidence-based support that puts you and your baby’s needs first.
From breastfeeding and expressing to bottle and combination feeding, my approach is centred around your individual goals. Together, we’ll build your confidence, explore what works best for your family and help you feel supported every step of the way.
How I Can Help
Every baby is different, and feeding doesn’t always go quite as expected. Whether you’re preparing for your baby’s arrival, working through a feeding challenge or simply looking for reassurance that things are going well, I’m here to offer practical, personalised support that works for you and your family.
Before Baby Arrives
Prepare for feeding with confidence before your baby arrives. We’ll explore your feeding goals, what to expect in the early days, colostrum harvesting, positioning and attachment, and create a flexible plan that feels right for you.
Feeding Your Baby
Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding or expressing, I can help with painful feeds, positioning and attachment, concerns about milk supply, feeding cues and knowing whether your baby is getting enough.
Ongoing Support
Feeding needs change as your baby grows. I can support you with introducing bottles, expressing, returning to work, adapting your feeding routine and finding practical solutions when new questions or challenges arise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do infant feeding consultations take place?
I offer consultations at Balanced Motion Clinic in Creekmoor, Poole, as well as online or in the comfort of your own home.
Home visits within 5 miles of the clinic are included in the consultation price. If you’re based further afield, please get in touch to discuss availability and any additional travel costs.
What happens during an infant feeding consultation?
We’ll start by discussing your feeding experience, any concerns you have and what you’d like help with.
For postnatal appointments, I’ll also carry out a feeding assessment where appropriate, observing a breast or bottle feed and offering practical guidance tailored to you and your baby.
There’s plenty of time to ask questions, explore different approaches and agree on a plan that works for you.
Do I need to be breastfeeding to book?
Not at all! I support families with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding and expressing.
Whether you’re looking for help with a particular feeding challenge or simply want some guidance, appointments are tailored to your individual circumstances and feeding goals.
When should I book an antenatal feeding consultation?
I’d recommend booking from around 35 weeks of pregnancy, although you’re welcome to arrange an appointment earlier.
We’ll cover what to expect in the early days, positioning and attachment, colostrum harvesting and any questions you may have about feeding your baby.
The aim is to help you feel prepared before your baby arrives.
